#2: Sam Worley - New Braunfels Canyon
Sam Worley is one of the top guys in the state and the country! This past spring he finished 3rd in the 1600m at the state meet running 4:17. He also ran the 3200m at states coming in 3rd running a new PR of 9:01, so close to breaking that sub-9 minute threshold. The junior will look to improve on his 12th place state cross country performance from last year. His cross country 5K PR is 15:17, but he's definitely a guy to keep an eye on for possibly running sub-15 sometime this season.
