This is the juniors 2nd time running NXN South, and first time qualifying for NXN. Last year Worley was just short of making the trip after finishing 9th overall at NXN South. This year it looked like it might be long shot for Worley to make it to Portland after a rough championship season. At his region meet he was sick and only placed 30th overall, and at State he had a DNF presumably due to the same sickness. Before those two meets the junior had only lost to David Strome all year. Worley had a big bounce back at NXN South to place 6th overall. Keep an eye out for him to continue to rise with a top finish at NXN.
