SAN SABA (2A GIRLS)
Last season, San Saba placed 10th at the State meet led by Freshman Kaleigh Ellis. Ellis is a sophomore this year and has a tag team partner who joins to make a powerful duo for the Lady Dillos. Combined with freshman Kylee Eckermann, San Saba enjoyed a 1-2 punch as they won the 2016 Region 4-2A. The Lady Dillos are full of youth with only one runner in their top seven who isn't a freshman or a sophomore, so they definitely have time to mature and make a legit run at a state title. However, San Sabe might be a prisoner of the present and shoot for a title or the awards stand this season.
