STUD ALERT: Several Hurdle Studs Will Compete At The Great Southwest

Eric Edwards (left) and Charles Brockman III (right) will battle each other and Floridian Thomas Burns

The boys hurdle events will be must see events at the 42nd Annual Great Southwest Track and Field Classic. In the 110H, U.S. #2 ERIC EDWARDS of Houston Langham Creek will take on some of the best in the nation. Scheduled to line up will be Arizona star TREY JOHNSON of Tolleson Union High and Kansas hurldle star NOAH GREEN from St. Thomas Aquinas High. Johnson will enter the meet as the U.S. #11 and Green will enter as U.S. #14. They will all have to compete against some of the other Texas stars like CHARLES BROCKMAN IIIAHMAD YOUNG, and QUIVELL JORDAN.

If that isn't enough hurdle action action or enough hurdle stars, then just wait as all of those Texas stars will double back in the 300H to take on the national leader THOMAS BURNS. Burns is the Florida state champ and the U.S. #1 300h from Miami Northwestern HS. With his top time of 35.57,  Burns will tackle the U.S. #2 Brockman and U.S. #5 Edwards.

The Great Southwest Classic is this weekend and we're super excited because you can catch all the action LIVE on MileSplit.  Some of the best athletes in the south will be heading to the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico on June 1-3, 2017, to prove who's the best in the south.
