Holt is another Austin metro area senior who will no doubt have a big senior year. Last year, he ran his tail off collecting PRs in every distance.
For cross, he had a big time finish to the season as he ran fast and tough in each of the last couple of meets. He went sub 16 for the first time at his district meet and then ran even faster at the state meet with his 15:30.33 for a sixth place finish. Two weeks later, Holt ran a tough NXR South race as he finished in 36th place.
Track season further solidified Holt as one of the top returners this season. He brought the speed with his 54.63, 1:57.83, and 4:21.74 PRs including a fourth place finish in the 1600m at the UIL 5A state meet.
Holt is without doubt one of the hottest runners in the state heading into the 2018 cross season.
