On Track & Leading the Pack
Dear Coach,
The Slidell Athletic Department would like to invite your high school and
junior high cross country teams to our invitational meet on Saturday, September
16 th , 2017.
Race Site:
Slidell High School
Course: The course will begin from our track with great visibility for coaches
and spectators. There is no path of repeat for runners as we have a 2
and a 3.2 mile course that spans more than 30 acres of school
property. There is only slight incline and decline as the runners race
through a well maintained course consisting of 95% grass/dirt surface.
Add an exciting finish as the last 800M is visible from the track where
runners will get the chance to race for the win with a final 300M dash
on the track surface.
Race Times:
Race start times will run on a rolling schedule with consideration for runners and
fans.
8:30 AM Varsity Girls
Varsity Boys
JV Girls
JV Boys
Junior High Girls
Junior High Boys
Entry Fee:
This year we are simplifying our entry process by charging
$10.00 per individual.
Varsity Team is limited to 7 runners.
Schools may have unlimited sub varsity entries with a school
maximum fee of $300.
