Demons, Lady Sandies capture running titles

Dumas placed five runners among the top 17 at the Rebel Run cross country meet hosted by Tascosa on Saturday at Thompson Park, giving Dumas the boys large-school championship.

Perryton's Taylor Hubbard won the boys individual title with a time of 16:57.1 minutes, with Caprock's Anthony Pequeno in second with a 17:04.7 and Dumas' Peter Suarez in fourth in 17:18.3.
