Aldaco's Forecast |

|
Coach Cotton has done a great job at McNeil. Since his arrival 7 years ago his teams have |
|
|
|
been improving and contending for a state spot every year. He brings back everyone from |
|
|
|
last years squad that placed 5th overall in a very tough region 2-5A. They are the only team |
||
|
in the top 5 at Regionals that return everyone so that puts them in a great position this year. |
||
|
Amelia McElhinney had a great track season running 2:17/5:02. She placed 9th overall last |
||
|
year at the cross state meet. Zoe Punske is a talent also. Zoe excels in the longer distances |
||
|
on the track leading the team with a 11:22 3200. I really like that the 5 of the projected |
|
|
|
top 7 are seniors this year. They still have to get it done in Region 2 to make it to state. |
|
|
|
The Region is not as tough as it was last year because Kingwood and College Park |
|
|
|
lose plenty. Both Kingwood and College Park loses 4 of their top 5 from last years team. |
|
|
|
I know they are great programs and will reload but they will be inexperienced. |
|
