What she did: Rosen dominated the elite girls division at the Lake Highlands Invitational on Saturday at Norbuck Park in Dallas. Rosen, making her season debut, finished the 4K race in 14 minutes, 18 seconds. She finished almost a minute ahead of second-place finisher Becky Wade of Ursuline (15:12). Jillian Rosen

She said it: "I felt really good. I was just really happy to be racing again. It was a later start to the season for me, but it was a lot of fun. I raced it well. I tried to not go out too fast. ... I was pleased."
