A perfect score for a cross country team at a meet is 15 points. That means one team had the first five finishers. The Woodlands Lady Highlanders were perfect at the Montgomery Invitational.
"We ran pretty well," Lady Highlanders coach Noel Hansen said. "Anytime you put up a perfect score, that's not too bad."
A trio of veteran runners pace the Lady Highlanders.
"We feel like we have three people that have been running really well and kind of leading the team," Hansen said.
