White,Dalquist, and Johnson Compete with Elite at Adidas Grand Prix

3 Texas Athletes competed in the pretigious Adidas Grand Prix meet at Icahn Stadium in New York. Malcolm White (Katy Taylor), Kortnei Johnson (Italy) and Austen Dalquist (Keller) all earned the golden ticket. Golden Tickets were given out only to the most elite kids in the US.  Just to compete in this event was an honor. 

Malcolm White Placed 5th overall. Kendal Williams from FL was the favorirte coming in and won the race in 10.46.

Kortnei Johnson placed 5th overall. It is great to see her get a chance to run against the best in the US. She comes from a small school in Texas and rarely gets to run against any competition that can push her. Kaylin Whitney from FL was considered one of the favorites coming in won in a fast 11.27.

Austen Dalquist ended his career with a big PR. His 4:05.33 Mile was good enough for 7th in a deep fast boys field. The time converts to a 4:03.91 1600m which places him  #4 all time in Texas.
