The Southlake Carroll boys are annually in the hunt for state titles and Nike Cross Nationals berth in the state of Texas. This fall will be no different for last year's UIL 5A boys state champs as they will have a formidable squad led by Eli Canal, who posted a 9:15 3200 in the spring at the Texas Relays and also posted a 15:17 5K on the track. He will be backed up by an entire top 7 of returnees who have run under 17 minutes for 5K from last fall.
