It doesn't sound right to say the defending State Champs were flying under the radar this season, but in terms of National attention, Judson was moving quietly through 2015. Much of this can be attributed to running at hand timed meets, or meets that lacked wind data. Meaning many of their blistering fast relay & sprint times weren't listed in the official State & National rankings.

The 6A Girls Division is arguably the most difficult Team Title to win at the UIL State Meet. Especially this season when so many powerhouse programs had the talent to contend for 1st place. Everything would have to fall into place perfectly, and even small mistakes could cost a team the points they needed.

Coach Gerbich kept her team on track with an incredible success rate in the events they competed in! Leaving the meet with individual/relay titles and an impressive amount of hardware. It's difficult to win a State Title, and even harder to come back and repeat.

From following Texas T&F for the first time this season, one thing that stood out all season long was the dedicated following the Converse Judson girls squad has! It's a testament to Coach Gerbich to build such a loyal fan base, and there's no better way to be rewarded then by being named the USTFCCCA Texas Girls Coach Of The Year!
