Raasin McIntosh Impresses!

The second week of Indoor track concluded with both Texas Tech and Houston hosting 2 indoor meets. One an open meet and one a collegiate meet.

The highlight from the Leonard Hilton Memorial in Houston came from Raasin McIntosh. Raasin is a Senior this year for the Lady Longhorns. She did her prep running in the powerhouse program Houston Westbury. Raasin ran a personal best 8.10 in the 60 meter hurdles. The tine not only gave her an automatic qualifying time for the NCAA Indoor National meet held in February at the University of Arkansas, it also set a new school record in the event. The meet featured other automatic qualifying marks by Michele Carter (Texas) and Sanya Richards (Texas).

The Texas Tech Quad had some outstanding results also. The highlight of the meet came from Jeremy Wariner (Baylor). The super sophomore ran an impressive 45.83 which is an automatic qualifier for the NCAA\'s.

Next week the action continues with the Texas Tech Classic. Texas A&M is headed out of state for the Bayou Bengal Invitational in Baton Rouge. Texas is headed to the BodyBuilder.com Invitational in Boise,
