The 14-year-old girls 200m was an entertaining race. Zoey Walker of Texas Fusion and Laila Owens of Texas Hurricanes provided a photo finish as both young ladies crossed the line in 25.12.
Just as the girls 14-year-old 200m, the boys also gave the crowd a little razzle dazzle. Ian Gilmore of Track Houston has been tearing up the scene for years in the 400m and 800m. He shows he also has some speed by taking the 200m in an exciting race with Tyrese Overshawn of the Northside Striders and Everett Tippins of the Cy-Fair Running Eagles.
The girls 9-year-old 800m was another close race. This race came down to the wire between Anaya Forney of the Northside Striders and Stacie Harris of Pearland Xpress. They crossed in 2:41.30 and 2:41.72, as Forney took the win. The third and fourth place finishers weren't too far behind in 2:44s.
