Briggs Wittlake comes into the Texas preseason XC rankings at number 19. During the track season, Wittlake finished 1st in 6A- District 2 with a time of 9:27. His personal best came from the Jesuit-Sheaner Relays where he ran a 9:23.19 to place 7th in the loaded field. Looking at the 2015 cross country season, Briggs had a fast first race at Marcus I Invitational, finishing 6th overall with a time of 15:53.42. Other notable performances from his standout junior season were his top 20 finish at UIL State Cross Country Championship and 7th place finish at the Nike South Invitational.
