#9: Eric Casarez - Keller Central
The junior from Keller Central is primed for a potential breakout season. On the track Casarez has run 4:28 for 1600m and 9:29 for 3200m but he really impressive on the cross country course last year. He ran a blazing 15:15 at the McNeil Invitational and finished an impressive 6th. He didn't run his best at his first state meet ever, but he now has the experience of a state meet and an NXN regional which should help him this season.
