TORNILLO (3A BOYS)
Tornillo is definitely a favorite to finish in the top three, however there should be consideration for them as challengers to the 3A title. Luling is the favorite and is going for their seventh straight 3A title and appears dominant, but if there is a challenger to be had it is Tornillo. Tornillo dominated their Region 1-3A meet with only 28 points, a 50 second 1-5 split and a 17:08 average. Just a few weeks ago, they won the Mcneil Invitational Varisty 1A-4A race with a whopping 13 second 1-5 split and a 16:24 average on the new course. Bottom line, don't sleep on these guys!
