Houston Lamar's Julia Heymach is one of the top female distance runners in the nation. She is the #3 returning miler in the US with her 4:44 mark from the state meet. Heymach has outstanding marks in every event from the 800m on up, including cross country. Heymach is a four-time Texas State Champion, New Balance Nationals Indoor Finalist, Nike Cross Country National Finalist, Foot Locker Cross Country Finalist, Brooks Finalist, Addias Grand Prix Finalist, USA World Youth National Champion, and an IAAF World Youth Finalist.
