Aledo's Gracie Morris is another national level talent. Morris started her high school career running in big time meets and rolled off three straight victories. Morris continued to race Texas' top talent and competed like a veteran. She ran in the 18s all season and even dropped a 17:56 PR at McNeil. Morris took All-State honors taking fifth in the 5A State race and went to the Foot Locker South Regional meet in North Carolina and took 23rd.
It's kind of hard to say look out for Morris in 2017 when she definitely already arrived in 2016, but the next level is waiting on Morris and we can watch her chase the elite level status.
