PEYTON WEISSMANN
Grapevine's Peyton Weissmann is another 2016 vaulter who took the reigns from Benavides and Wooten. Weismann was the 5A State champ in 2016. After his 7th place finish as a sophomore, in 2015, Weissmann came back to Vault a 16-6 PR, at State for the title. Weissmann has already reached his PR from last season. At the Texas A&M High School Indoor Classsic, he topped out at 16-6 to place only behind Riley Richards. He Also placed third with a 16-4 performance against the nation's best vaulters at the National Pole Vault Summit in Reno, Nevada.
