PEER 2 PEER WITH TREY FIELDS AND SEAN HOOPER
Keller Fossil Ridge senior SEAN HOOPER and Manvel senior HOWARD FIELDS have the top two 400m times in Texas and amongst the top in the nation. Hooper leads Texas with a 46.42 and Fields is close behind with his 46.49. Hooper had a spectacular summer winning both the USA and AAU 400m youth championships over the summer and coming away with a 46.17 PR. Fields has been a youth phenom for many years and placed third in the 2016 UIL 6A 400m.
Fields, who will is in 5A this season and the 6A Hooper will not compete against each other, but they were able to catch up with one another to do Peer 2 Peer.

Trey - Is track and field a love/hate sport?
Sean - To me it's not really a love/hate sport, it's just that you have to want to put in the work to get your results.
Trey - What is your favorite race?
Sean - The 400!
Trey - In your opinion, which race has more hype to it, the 4x100 or the 4x400?
Sean - The 4x400, because it's the last race of the day and everyone wants to see what you are going to do.
Trey - How is your training within track?
Sean - It's hard and very intense!
Trey - Do you think the 400m dash is a mans race?
Sean - Yes!
Trey - What do you think is the best movie of all time?
Sean - I don't watch movies, so I couldn't tell you that one.
Trey - Which restaurant do you like the best, Chick Fil A or Whataburger?
Sean - Ahhh dang, that's hard....I like them both.

Sean - What type of workouts do you do?
Trey - Lots of both speed and endurance workouts.
Sean - What made you wanna go to Baylor?
Trey - It was the previous olympians who went to the school and also the coaches and the overall environment. It just felt like home.
Sean - If you could be sponsored by any brand what would I be?
Trey - Nike, Addidas, or Jordan. You get the best of both worlds with Jordan (Nike and Jordan).
Sean - What do you think about the whole situation of why the USA team isn't traveling to Kenya?
Trey - I really don't mind. You win some and you lose some.
Sean - What's your favorite race?
Trey - The 400 meter dash.
Sean - What's your favorite candy?
Trey - Trolly's gummy worms!!!
Sean - Which race would you rather run 400 or 4x400?
Trey - The 4x400 because of the hype.
