What was your most memorable race/moment?
My freshman year cross country regional meet, where our team advanced to state.
Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?
Jake Johnson from Allen, he has pushed me to PR each and every year in any race we competed. I'm super excited to race him in the BIG 12s and know he's going to to big things at UT.
What was your greatest accomplishment?
Being the only freshman at the 6A State XC meet in 2013.
If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
I wouldn't change a single thing, this sport, and my team have shaped me into the person I am today.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
It was difficult having four different coaches in four years. My first coach was Richard Grubbs he was incredible, then I moved for 1 year to Prosper High School, where I was under Coach Josh Allen. Then I moved back to Plano West where Coach Andy Reinberg and Sean Fairchild contributed to all of my successes and I'm still so grateful for each.
What will you miss the most?
I'm going to miss my team like crazy next year. Y'all are my brothers.
What advice would you give to younger athletes?
Never settle for less than your best and ALWAYS finish on empty
What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?
Each one of my coaches have shown me unconditional love and support. I've learned discipline not only as a runner but as a person too.
What are your college plans?
I am signed to run track and cross country at Baylor University next year. Sic em bears!

I want to thank my parents for being my biggest fans throughout the years. I couldn't have done it without you guys

I love you Sharan!

Getting yelled at by the trainers every single Friday for the entire team singing in the showers
