CJ Brown is on fire. He ran well at TCU and I think this race is his to lose. CJ Jesset is having a good season also but has not had any big wins in big races yet. Sean Welleck was my Hidden Gem in the fall when nobody knew who he was, this track season he is running well and not over racing so He will be in contention

If you saw last years race and what Craig did there as a FR than you are not surprised by my pick. Webb has been unbeatable all year. Will anyone have the courage to lead this race to a sub 9 though like Logan Sherman did when Scott MacPherson and Brian Sullivan battled it out. Parker is another runner that has been hot as of late. If someone takes the pace out hard than his chances are better of winning than if it goes out slow.

Chelsey absolutely dominated a great field at Jesuit last week in less than favorable conditions. I think the same will happen here. Tricia is interesting because she has been running fast with no competition so if she can hang on when Chelsey makes her move with 600 to go than she will be towed to a great time. Haley ran fast at Jesuit and she will do the same here.

Sarah will break some records Friday night. In fact this might be the best group of girls ever to come together for a Texas Relays race. I say 10 girls go under 11. I think Sarah is the one to beat and after the tremendous race last week at Jesuit, Ashley should be up there. She is more of a 3200 than a 1600 runner. Of course you can never count Chelsey out after her tremendous cross country season. This will be the race of the weekend.
