2017 UIL 5A state championship race
To make the top 50 returners list means you must have had a good season (Or at least one good race). This is list is full of some very talented girls from all over the state of Texas. To make it, you had to qualify with a good 5K time - 18:29.40 is the cut-off.
However, we added a twist. We took those top 50 5K returners and put their track PRs from the 2017 season in the distance events. After that, we combined them just to get an idea of where the girls excel and just how good they are. Believe me every girl on this list is good.
