The Woodlands Sweeps 6A Region 2 on Back of Strong Packs

2020 Region 2-6A Girls 3 Miles 

As expected, The Woodlands held serve in UIL 6A Region 2, sweeping the team titles, but the Klein girls (3rd) and boys (2nd) and Klein Cain girls (2nd) match up well through four runners, and you can expect them to make noise at the state meet. Martin David-Chavez (Duncanville) continued a remarkable ratings surge, joining Melissa's Judson Greer (who won the 4A race) and Ben Shearer (The Woodlands Christian) as Texas runners topping a 190 speed rating this season. Kristen McHugh won in 6A, with 5A winner Amy Morefield (Lucas Lovejoy) and Cameron Fawcett (Dallas Highland Park) rating right with her above a 136 speed rating.

The speed ratings below reflect some slightly different adjustments to the raw times to better reflect the true speed of each race.
