
The source for this hypothetical matchup is speed ratings from the four 2A regional meets held across Texas last week. (View the results from Region 1, Region 2, Region 3, and Region 4.) The speed ratings standardize each of the raw times from those meets to better see how the times from the relatively fast Region 2 and Region 3 races compare with the slower times from Regions 1 and 4.
