It's October and in Texas that means it's championship season looming ahead of us.
That's not just for UIL athletes, but also for Homeschool, SPC, as well as the SPC conference.
William Peters from Dallas Covenant is one of the many athletes gearing up for the season. For him, that includes defending his TAPPS cross country title and three peat.
Peters looks like he is primed to do so. He ran a 15:48.30 PR at the Jesuit XC Classic two weeks ago and adding that with his 1,600m and 3,200m state titles from the spring track season.
Check out the interview and find out Peters' mindset approaching the upcoming championship season.
