Port Aransas head coach Steve Reaves and his program are no strangers to the UIL State Cross Country Championships.
Last year, his boys won the UIL 2A state championship and now they have the opportunity to repeat. They are the 2021 Region 4-2A champs after their win in Corpus Christi on Monday.
However, the 2A boys team competition will be one of the toughest in recent years. Coach Reaves talks about his Port Aransas program, the state meet, and how he will try to navigate next week's race.
