The La Porte cross country programs are not new to success, especially recently. Runners like Ryan Schoppe on the boy's side and Kelsey Ramirez on the girl's side have had success on all levels and are from La Porte.
However, this year, the program has made history by seeing both the girls and the boys qualifying for the UIL state meet with their complete teams.
