It's been a great month for Hannah Spears (Holliday). She committed to Texas Tech University, won the Region 3-1A Championship, and now she is the UIL 3A state track and field champion.
Spears took the lead early into the race and it was all down hill from there. She added the cross country title to her track championships last spring to add to her championship resume.

Junior Jaycee Lyons added a ninth place finish to help bolster the team championship for Holliday shipping the state title back to town.
