Houston Eisenhower senior hurdler Jaiya Covington won the Texas A&M High School Indoor Classic 60 meter hurdles last weekend. She was third at the 2021 UIL 6A state championships in the 100H and is now on a full steam ahead mission to challenge for the state title in the 2022 season.
Covington, the Texas A&M commit ran a 8.51 PR in the event for the win and to propel her into the rest of the 2022 track and field season.
