Texas Tech Under Armour Classic boys 200m prelim heat 40

Archbishop Carroll (DC) junior sprinter Nyckoles Harbor entered the weekend ranked as the sixth ranked 60m performer nationally. Last night, he ran an easy 6.80 in the 60m preliminary round to qualify for the finals.
Today, he set himself up for a Texas two-step finals when he ran a U.S. No. 1 200m performance. His 20.79 prelim run improves his personal best in the event (21.36) from the 2021 outdoor season and sets him up for two anticipate finals races later this afternoon in Lubbock, Texas.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound prep is a 5-star defensive end recruit who came to Texas to get notable 200m performance.
"I was fourth in the 60m at the VA Showcase and I knew I could get a fast 200m and wanted to put on a show for the crowd and my mother," he said.
