Champion Allison is affectionately known as "Champ". It's a name he is currently at work to possibly amend it to "World Champ" and he is one step closer to making that a possibility after advancing to the semi-final round of the 2022 World Athletics Championships in the 400 meters. He earned the semi-final positing by winning the fifth preliminary heat with a time of 45.56.

The former Richmond George Ranch student-athlete is in Eugene, Oregon attempting to win two gold medals, one in his individual event and another one in the 4X400 relay.

Allison's road to the World Championships took him to the University of Alabama and then to the University of Florida this past season where he excelled in the 400m. He took things to another level this season when he finished runner-up in the NCAA Championships and breaking the NCAA record in the relay.

At the US World Trials, Allison ran 43.70 to earn his Team USA berth, but it also put him No. 10 on the World All-Time list.
