Cedar Park Vista Ridge isn't one of the oldest schools in the state; it was established in 2003. In that time, the school has been unable to qualify a girls cross country team to the UIL State Championships.
Nearly 20 years after opening, that changed this season, when they finished fourth at the Region 4-6A Championships, on October 24th, 2022.
This week, we caught up with the Lady Rangers and talked to them and their coach about their epic accomplishment. Second year head coach, Matt Buchhorn shared what it means to the program and it's future.
