From an ex college athlete intruding the 6A boys race to many teams three peating team title wise this year's state meet was one to remember for years to come.

With the UIL State Championships coming to an end, we have combined results and merged each classification.

Things to look out for:

In the 2-mile divisions, Taytum Goodman had great weather on Saturday morning and was the first person to stride along the course the entire day.

Rain from the day and evening before left the conditions slightly muddy and soggy, but that didn't stop the junior from running 11:11 for the fastest time of the weekend.

The UIL 4A classification is responsible for the next 10 fastest times and the efforts from the girls in the rain and soggy course was still strong enough to account for nine girls under 12:00.

The girls 5,000m saw three girls run the exact same time for the fastest time of the weekend.

On Friday, Nicole Humphries and Samantha Humphries both crossed the line in 17:36.40 in the UIL 6A race Their performances were key to helping Flower Mound add another state championship. On Saturday, McKenzie Bailey won the UIL 5A race, also in 17:36.40.

We may never know how much the UIL 6A boys race was affected by being crashed by a post-collegiate runner. It possibly affected the early pace and athlete's reactions to another runner in the mix they didn't account for in pre-race strategies.

David Mora race around Old Settler's the fastest this weekend with his 15:15.40 to win the UIL 5A race. Other 5A boys Adam Burlison, Alberto Rayon, and Wyatt Athey also followed Mora to account for the fastest four performances. The race also accounted for seven of the fastest 10 boys performances.
