Senior of Houston Strake Jesuit- Reese Vannerson, lead the Houston Strake Jesuit DMR team off to a hot start DMR at the 2023 Katy ISD Bubba Fife Relays. Vannerson sturred up a crisp 2:57 1200m split in the DMR.
During the first four official weeks that the outdoor season has started in the Houston metro area, many teams have snagged some of the top times.
On the track, Houston owns seven out of the eight individual running events.
(Sprints)- Nathan Salz of Katy Jordan owns the state leading time/ nation leading time in the boy's 100m dash running 10.31, Cayden Broadnax of Ridge Point HS owns the state leading 200m dash time running 21.12, and Alex Ornelas of Langham Creek HS has the state leading 400m time with 47.27.
(Distance)-Zeke Moreno of Conroe Oak Ridge has the state leading time in the 800m running 1:53.07, and Reese Vannerson of Houston Strake Jesuit leads the state of Texas in the 1600m/ United States with a time of 4:06.8...
