While much of the country is playing track and field at the national indoor meets, the Texas scene and specifically the Houston area was seruiysk running outdoor track and field. The bar is being set high and that was further emphasized in North Houston today.

The Summer Creek Generations Park T&F Inv. continues to bring the best track and field action in the Houston area ad four to five girls and boys teams who are ranked in the top-10 in the state rankings as they collided at Summer Creek for early season bragging rights.

Klein Forest reigned supreme in he 4x100 relay and the 4x200 relay events. They got a great four legs from their quartet to capture a TX No. 1 40.23 performance and followed that up with another on with their 1:23.73. They now have the state's top ranking in both relays and No. 3 in the 4x400 relay. Fort Bend Marshall provided plenty of competition with their 40.43 performance.
