Stoya Laydevant (2046) competes at the 2022 Region 2-6A XC Championships
The Woodlands junior harrier Stoya Laydevant has had a short season so far, but she has made the most of it. If you're not paying attention, you won't notice that she is up and she is coming.
Laydevant's journey is analogous to the fictional character of Jon Snow from the HBO series Game of Thrones. In several of Snow's treks beyond the Wall, he is coming and coming for some time. The same goes for Laydevant.

Her trek began last spring, during the track and field season when she ran personal best in the 800m (2:14), the 1600m (4:59), and the 3200m (10:42) and she was seventh at the UIL 6A state meet.
She is continuing the trajectory from the spring during this cross season by setting personal bests in the 4,000m (13:51), three miles(16:56), and the 5K(18:00).
She won our Performer of the Week poll last week and gave us time for an interview.
