Caden Leonard and Blake Bullard compete at the 2023 UIL Cross Country State Championships

Caden Leonard and Blake Bullard had outstanding races last weekend to secure Southlake Carroll's fifth consecutive UIL 6A state championship.
Leonard won the individual state title and Bullard was fourth overall to keep the team's score low; lower than their regional winning point total. Leonard's win was in 15:00, the second fastest time over the two day state meet; Bullard ran a personal best 15:09.
They talked William Grundy about their state meet experience as well as the upcoming attempt to qualify to the Nike Cross Nationals (NXN).
