Very few, in fact only two have run that fast. Now no one but Elin Latta (San Antonio Patriots Homeschool Athletics) can say they have run 4:51.19 for the new middle school girls national record.
This indoor season alone, Latta has run sub five-minutes several times. That set her up for a confident run at the New Balance Nationals Indoors and she will leave with a national record.
