The sprint events at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet Inv. have been the biggest elite results generators in the first three editions of the meet. This year will be no different as there are state champions from previous years who are entered as well as some girls who already in good form.
Here are the girls we are looking out for in the three sprint events.
Taylor Nunez runs to her third UIL 3A 100m state title
Girls 100m
Taylor Nunez (Randolph) is the top performer on the season this season with her 11.32 performance.. She is the three time UIL 3A state champion in both the 100m and 200m events. Look for the Texas A&M commit to be ready to represent in front of her future coaches and teammates.

Girls 200m
The girls 200m won't have to suffer due to winds if applicable. A&M is able to turn the track to where it is advantageous for the runners.
Like with her twin sister, Mariah Maxwell (Humble Atascocita) is one of the top entries and top overall sprinters in the country so far this season. She run a wind legal US No. 1 performance with her 23.11 run just last week. Celeste Robinson again shows up here; The Georgia commit has been one of the most dominant sprinters in the state the past three seasons.
Brooke Lloyd (Humble Summer Creek) is a fantastic young talent. She ran 23.75 last week and was second to Maxwell. Look for her to avenge that loss and drop an even faster time in her attempt to do so.
Skylar Brazzell (Northwest Nelson) hasn't competed in the 200m this outdoor season, but she will debut this weekend in College Station. Brazell only ran the 800m outdoors and did run 2:12 this past Friday, good enough for a TX No. 9..
