San Antonio girls have been outstanding in the distance events in recent years and 2025 is no different with amazing times being posted week after week. There have already been 20 runners break 2:20 in the 800m, 31 runners have run faster than 5:30 in the 1600m and 26 runners have gone under 12 minutes in the 3200m. So far, there have been four athletes who have hit all four marks Smithson Valley's Brady Solansky and Lilly Koenig as well as Savanah Moya of New Braunfels and Brennan's Kailyn Brunson. Two names not on that list are Randolph's Sophia Bendet who does not run the 3200m during the track season, but was the cross country State champion at that distance and Elizabeth Leachman of Boerne Champion who has yet to run during the outdoor season.
