San Antonio Johnson Girls Are A 6A Team To Watch In 2025

The Johnson girls were 2024 Region 4-6A Champions

The San Antonio Johnson girls are coming off a very good and successful 2024 cross country season and they could take another step up in the upcoming 2025 season.

After winning the UIL Region 4-6A Championship they placed seventh at the state meet and were the first non DFW or Houston team in the final team standings.

Finishing in front of them from the DFW was four time state champions Flower Mound followed by Northwest Nelson, and Southlake Carroll. Runner-up and third place finishers Katy, and powerhouse The Woodlands.

Both the journey and overall experience will be huge benefactors for the Lady Jaguars. Consisting of a lineup that without seniors, the potential returning group could build onto things.

A junior led group of Isabella Porter, Emily Krot, and Pinheiro Barrei Ariana who were all sub 19-minute performers in 2024 could be quite the catalysts. With Kira Albino, Magdalana Williams, Isabela Arias, and Alyssa Gonzales teaming up to run things back for a possible dominant season in Region 4-6, be on the lookout for San Antonio Johnson.
