ARLINGTON, TX (9/10/05) - Three top-ten finishers earned the North Texas men\'s cross country team a second place finish at the UT-Arlington Invitational.

UTA freshman Carolina Erlingson and sophomore standout Jodi Hulett claimed top 10 finishes to lead the Mavericks to a third-place finish at the 2005 Movin\' Mavs Cross Country Challnege at Vandergriff Park Saturday morning.
In the first scored meet of the season, the SMU women\'s cross country team took command early at the Movin\' Mavs Challenge as they captured the team title by scoring only 27 points. TCU with 49 points was second, followed by UTA (74), North Texas (100) and Texas A&M-Commerce (172).
For the second week in a row, UTEP freshman Patrick Mutai earned the Conference USA Cross Country Male Athlete of the Week honor, while SMU sophomore Rachael Forish earned the female weekly honor after both athletes won their respective races over the weekend. Mutai won his second race in a row at the Lobo Invitational, while Forish opened her season with a victory at the Movin\' Mavs Challenge
