HOUSTON -- Making their respective collegiate track debuts, University of Texas freshmen Jamaal Charles (Port Arthur, Texas) and Raymond Harris (Nacogdoches, Texas) collected NCAA provisional-qualifying marks to highlight the fourth-ranked Longhorns\' easy victory at the 12-team Leonard Hilton Memorial Meet Friday evening at the University of Houston\'s Yeoman Field House.
SFA Has Strong Showing at Hilton Memorial

HOUSTON - The Stephen F. Austin men\'s and women\'s track and field teams kicked off the 2006 indoor season Friday at the Leonard Hilton Memorial. The Ladyjacks, led by a strong showing in the vertical jumps, scored 32 points to finish in fifth place. The Lumberjacks performed well in the sprints and finished in 7th place with 39 points.
McNeese\'s Darrick Brown leads Cowboys during Houston indoor track and field meet

Houston, TX - The field events gave McNeese State all of its scoring during the Houston indoor track and field meet here on Friday. Jumper Darrick Brown led the way with a fourth place showing in the long jump and a sixth place in the high jump. He went 23-0 3/4 in the long jump and 6-7 1/2 in the high jump.
