Meet Information

Date: September 6th, 2014

Time: Start at 9:00 A.M. with a Rolling Schedule!

Varsity Girls

Varsity Boys

JV Girls

JV Boys

Location: Yoakum City Park

Awards: Medals for top 10 and Championship Plaque for winning team in each division.

Entry Fee: $70 per varsity team, $50 per JV team. You may only count 7 runners towards your varsity teams; You may run unlimited numbers on JV Teams and JH Teams. If you dont plan to enter a team and only wish to enter individuals in a division it will be $10 per athlete. Max of $240 per school district. Please make checks payable to Yoakum ISD.

There are two things that I ask of each coach attending:

1) No spikes! You can run in flats or spikes without the spikes in them. Runners will be checked at the starting line. Some of the course will include pavement.

2) Please emphasize to your kids as they walk the course and cheer on teammates that they stay off of the greens and tee boxes at our golf course

3) The Meet will be scored using the card system. Runners will receive a card after they finish and they are responsible for returning the card to their coach. Coaches will return the cards in a Ziploc bag (provided in your packet) to the scorers table. Please fill out all information on the card!

4) Please inform your parents that they need to come into the city park from Carl Rambert Dr. (FM 3475), and not to come through the residential areas. We will have some very short areas where athletes will cross over from different sections of the park, and the less traffic we have that goes through those roads, the smoother the meet will run.
