Cougar Classic Cross Country Meet

Course description: One and one-half mile loop. The course is a park area that is all grass with a steep downhill, and a few terrain undulations with a two hundred meter start area. Good spectating course for coaches and parents.

Entry fee: $50.00 for boys teams and $50.00 for girls teams. Total of $100.00 per school with both teams. This is a booster club event. We are not part of the Athletic Directors agreement. No team packets will be handed out unless entry fee is paid. You may bring your check with you on meet day.

Entry Deadline: Friday September 18, 2015 4:00 PM. Create an Excel spreadsheet and list your runners by divisions. Your spreadsheet by division should include in this order; last name, first name and grade. Email the document to Coach Rainey on or before the deadline. After your entries are received an email will be sent to confirm your entry.

Entry confirmation: email Coach Rainey that you plan on attending the meet when a decision has been made. The meet is limited to the first twenty teams who confirm an entry.

Directions to meet site: Take Hwy 59 west to Sugar Land and exit at Hwy 6. Turn north (right) on Hwy 6 and exit at University. Turn east (right) on Old Hwy 90 and the park entrance is on your right about a mile down.

Bus Parking: A grass area at the back of the parking lot will be provided for buses. Cars will be able to park in a paved parking lot.

Concessions and T-shirts: A snack bar with food and drink will be provided by the Booster Club. Custom printed meet T-shirts using dry fit material will be for sale.

Team Area: set up camps in the designated team area. Restrooms are located at the softball fields across from the team area.

Awards: Varsity team awards for both boys and girls will be presented to 1st 2nd 3rd place teams. Individual medals will be handed out in the finish chutes. Team awards will be handed out 30 minutes after the final event.

6:30 PM Varsity Boys 3 miles 40 medals 7 boys
