9th Annual
Chaparral Invitational
"Running under the lights"
DATE: Friday, August 31st
SITE: Southeast Metro Park
4511 Texas Hwy 71 Del Valle, TX 78617
COURSE: FR & JV Divisions will run 2miles the Varsity races will compete on the 5K course. The course consists of grass, some gravel trail, and two pavement crossings
ENTRIES: All Races will be chip timed. The Freshmen and JV divisions have unlimited entries. Varsity entries are limited to 10.
We will be sending out entry information for direct athletics the first week of August when we return to school. Direct Athletic will open for entries 08/1/2018 / registration closes August 28th 11:59
SCHEDULE: Races will be competed at the following times. If an athlete has not finished by the allotted time they will be allowed to finish, but may not receive a finishing time.
6:15 - Freshmen Girls /Boys 2mi
6:45 - JV Girls 2mi
7:15 - JV Boys 2mi
7:45 - Varsity Girls 5K
8:15 - Varsity Boys 5K
AWARDS: All Awards will be handed out at the finish line

You are invited to attend the 9th annual Chaparral Invitational. The races will take place Friday August 31st with varsity races under the lights and we hope to create a great racing environment and one that the athletes will remember. T-shirts, concession, and fun will be available after and during the races.
WE HAVE ROOM FOR 20 HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS- priority will be given to those teams that are running a Varsity, JV, and Freshmen Teams.

ENTRY FEES:
Freshmen teams $50 per team
JV teams $75.00 per team
Varsity team $125.00 per team
AWARDS:
Medals will be given to top 15 in all divisions. Plaques awarded to top team in freshmen and JV divisions. Trophies will be awarded to the winning teams in the varsity divisions.
Refunds will not be issued for meet cancellation due of acts of nature or no shows by a team.
