The 2019 Ennis Lions Den Invitational
Coach,
The Ennis Lions Cross Country team would like to invite your cross-country team to participate in our 18th annual Lions Den Invitational. The meet will be held at the Jaycee Park in Ennis on Saturday September 21st, 2019.
Schedule: 7:00 Registration/ Packet Pickup
Distance
8:00 1 - 4A Varsity Girls 3200 meters
5 - 6A Varsity Girls 5K
1- 4A Varsity Boys 5K
5 - 6A Varsity Boys 5K
JV Girls 1-4A 3200 meters
JV Girls 5-6A 5K
JV Boys (will be split at finish) 5K
Jr. High Girls (may split 1-4A & 5-6A) 3200 meters
Jr. High Boys (may split 1-4A & 5-6A) 3200 meters
(We start the second race before the first race has finished so have runners ready to go, we usually finish around 10:30)
Entry Fee: $10.00 per individual runner or $ 60.00 per team per division.
** Entry fee may be paid at packet pickup (just let us know youre coming).
** Make checks payable to: Ennis Cross Country

Entries: Enter your runner(s) for the meet through www.athletic.net no later than noon Sept 18th .
Timing: We will be using electronic timing system this year, so faster results.
Awards: The top Two teams in each division will receive trophies.
The top two junior high teams will receive trophies.
The first 15 finishers in each division will receive medals.
Course: The course is run mostly on grass, winding around the park. The terrain is mostly flat with a few small hills. This course offers parents and coaches an excellent view of almost the entire race.
Parking: Buses will park at park
Facilities: Restrooms will be available on-site. Water will be provided at the finish line. There will be concessions available.
